Overview

CAPTRUST is seeking an Account Manager. The Account Manager is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, ensuring that they receive a high level of service and are satisfied with the products or services provided. They work closely with other members of the firm to develop and implement strategies to increase engagement and make awareness of the benefits being offered by the client. The Account Manager will work closely with internal partners to ensure that all parties are communicated with, and that the client has a seamless delivery of services.

Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients
  • Understanding client needs and goals
  • Developing strategies to meet those needs and goals
  • Communicating regularly with clients to keep them informed of progress
  • Managing client expectations
  • Identifying opportunities for growth within existing accounts
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4 years of related industry experience; retirement plans and relationship management
  • Professional License/Certification required (65, 6, or 7)

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal communication skills to include comfortability with public speaking 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities, meeting deadlines and managing expenses
  • Exhibit analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint in addition to Access, GAP analysis tools and vendor website navigation
  • 4-year college degree (preferred but not required)
