Overview

Who Are We Looking For?

 

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the financial services industry? As an Endowment and Foundations Advisor your clients will include endowments, foundations, institutional asset pools, 401(k), 403(b), defined benefit, and non-qualified plans. We focus on the “mid-market" with assets between $5 million and $250 million.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Client Relationships: Secure at least $150,000 in new contracted revenue annually.
  • Deliver Presentations: Present to individuals and committees with confidence and clarity.
  • Prospect Meetings: Schedule and attend a minimum of three prospect meetings per week.
  • Cross-Sell Services: Introduce and sell additional CAPTRUST services to existing clients.
  • Build Referral Networks: Develop strong relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs) and other referral sources.
  • Provide Fiduciary Advice: Offer expert fiduciary advice to your client base.
  • Conduct Reviews: Perform and document quarterly portfolio and plan reviews.
  • Educate Participants: Deliver educational programs and advice to plan participants.
  • Support Governance: Provide fiduciary and governance support to investment committees and boards.
  • Travel: Be prepared to travel as needed.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required; majors in Business Administration, Marketing, or Finance preferred.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of direct selling experience in the financial services industry.
  • Skills: Exceptional oral and written communication skills, high professionalism, and the ability to work independently.
  • Licenses: Securities licenses such as Series 65, 66, 7.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and experience with Client Relationship Management (CRM) software.

Compensation:

 

Long term and unlimited based on production!  To start, salary range $120,000 to $150,000 (plus bonus) depending on experience and geography. As your practice grows, your salary will be maintained for two years transitioning to a production-based payout in year three. Salary will be replaced by payout on production in year three. Long-term, the upside opportunities are at the top of the financial services industry – including equity ownership. Come build your business within the CAPTRUST framework!
