Overview

CAPTRUST is seeking a dynamic Senior Associate Relationship Management who will deliver high-level customer service to clients of the firm. The position is located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate will join an established wealth management advisory team providing independent advice and customized service to clients. A competitive salary is offered for this role as well as expanding responsibilities with a rapidly growing firm. Primary responsibilities may include the following, among others:

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with compilation and analysis of investment data and addressing client specific requests, including asset allocation studies, Monte Carlo simulations and forecasts of future asset values
  • Experienced professional utilizing FactSet software in the construction of portfolios, trade execution, performance measurement/reporting and analysis to support our portfolio business cycle models.
  • Analyze prospect and client investment strategies and asset allocation and make recommendations
  • Equity research using quantitative methods and fundamental analysis
  • Produce ad hoc client deliverables and support high level research efforts
  • Trading on both equity and fixed income portfolios
  • Portfolio analysis, performance, and attribution reporting
  • Help with advanced client presentation preparation
  • Mentor and peer review entry level associates
  • Contribute/drive client relevant and innovative research
  • Assist with ad hoc projects within required deadlines

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of related work experience

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

  • Series 65 and/or series 7
  • CFA or path to pursue CFA
  • Strong analytical abilities and significant knowledge of investment topics
  • Strong communications skills (ability to read and write, follow written and verbal instructions, and communicate effectively)
  • Good organizational skills (ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines)
  • Good computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Expected to perform independently and exercise good judgment, with routine supervision, mentors entry level employees in day-to-day work responsibilities
  • Experience in FactSet, Bloomberg, eMoney and other investment systems strongly desired
