Overview

WHO are we looking for?

 

CAPTRUST is seeking an Institutional Operations Associate who will work with client service professionals, investment consultants, and our retirement plan providers to oversee and execute on the firm's institutional client processes. The Associate will be responsible for quarterly institutional reporting and the troubleshooting of reporting errors. This individual will work closely with our institutional performance reporting team to facilitate the update of quarterly asset values and investment positions in our CRM. Additionally, the Associate will evaluate current processes, recommend improvements, document procedures, and educate other CAPTRUST team members on both existing and new procedures. Success in this position requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, maintain exceptional attention to detail, and demonstrate strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Primary responsibilities may include the following, among others

Responsibilities

  • Work with teammates to execute the quarterly market value and investment reporting processes within Institutional Operations
  • Import quarterly market value data into our Microsoft Dynamics 365-based CRM
  • Process workflows to reflect investment changes in our CRM
  • Work closely with client service, consulting teams, and retirement plan provider partners
  • Drive process improvements by identifying operational inefficiencies and documenting/promoting best practices
  • Strengthen data integrity and data health

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in associated field of study or equivalent combination of training and experience required
  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience working in operations, back office, or client service within the financial services industry
  • Retirement plan experience preferred

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

  • High level of experience with Microsoft office products, specifically Excel
  • Knowledge/experience with Power Query is highly desirable
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Self-starter that can prioritize and re-prioritize with little supervision
  • Good communication skills, especially over the phone and via email
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to form strong relationships across the organization and with contacts at vendor partners
  • Works well in a team environment
