CAPTRUST is seeking a Data Analyst to play a key role in driving data-driven decision-making and strategic insights across the organization. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a passion for uncovering insights, ensuring data quality, and driving business objectives through data analysis. The analyst will collaborate with stakeholders across departments to design scalable analytics solutions, enhance data quality frameworks, and optimize data-driven processes to support business objectives.

• Lead the development, maintenance, and optimization of scalable data models, reports, and dashboards using Power BI
• Conduct advanced data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, translating findings into strategic recommendations for business leaders
• Define and enforce data governance policies, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across core systems
• Design, implement, and optimize automated ETL processes, integrating data from multiple sources to support enterprise analytics
• Act as a data strategy partner, collaborating with business units to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive operational efficiency and revenue growth
• Provide mentorship and leadership within the data community, sharing expertise and promoting data literacy across the organization
• Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization, using scripting languages (Python, R, or SQL) and advanced analytics techniques

• Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, statistics, economics, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• 5-7 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics role

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and Excel (experience with Python, R, or cloud-based analytics platforms is a plus)
• Hands-on experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data pipeline development
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills, with the ability to connect data insights to business outcomes
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into business-friendly recommendations
• Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics)
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure Synapse, Snowflake, or AWS)
• Expertise in predictive analytics, machine learning models, or advanced statistical analysis
• Ability to work independently and proactively, while also being a strong team player
• Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and enhance data-driven decision-making within an organization
• High standard of professionalism, integrity, and accountability
