Overview

WHO are we looking for?

CAPTRUST is seeking a Financial Wellness Consultant. A Financial Wellness Consultant is pivotal in orchestrating the transition to a holistic financial wellness program, working closely with clients to understand their unique needs, culture, and expectations. This role is responsible for developing and implementing a tailored financial wellness strategy that aligns with the client's goals, fostering strong relationships, and ensuring the program's success and client satisfaction. Primary responsibilities may include the following, among others:

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Client Engagement: Conduct comprehensive discovery meetings with client key stakeholders to understand their expectations for a holistic financial wellness program, including their success metrics, company culture, financial benefits offered, and existing financial wellness resources
  • Holistic Financial Wellness Planning: Lead the ideation process and craft a detailed Action Plan with prescriptive recommendations and considerations tailored to the client's needs for the holistic financial wellness offering. This includes aligning financial wellness strategies with the client's culture and benefits structure
  • Program Implementation and Launch: Coordinate with internal and external parties to finalize the action plan
  • Establish a formal launch date for the holistic financial wellness program and oversee the implementation process to ensure a seamless transition and integration with the client's existing benefits offerings
  • Ongoing Relationship and Program Health Management: Serve as the primary point of contact, conducting periodic check-ins with the client to assess program performance against agreed-upon metrics and objectives
  • Utilize marketing automation tools to actively manage and adapt financial wellness offerings based on engagement data and client feedback
  • Data-Driven Insights and Customization: Work closely with the client to determine data availability and leverage insights to continually refine and enhance the financial wellness program
  • Ensure that recommendations and strategies are data-driven and aligned with evolving client needs and industry best practices
  • Client Education and Advocacy: Educate clients on the value and impact of a holistic financial wellness program
  • Advocate for the adoption of practices and strategies that promote financial well-being among their employees

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4-year college degree (preferred but not required)
  • Professional License/Certification required (65,6, or 7)
  • 4 years of related industry experience; retirement plans and relationship management

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

  • Experience in strategic planning, program development, and client engagement within the financial services industry, particularly in financial wellness
  • Strong understanding of holistic financial wellness concepts and the ability to translate these into actionable, client-specific strategies
  • Innovative thinker with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and improvement within the scope of holistic financial wellness
  • Exceptional client service orientation, with a commitment to excellence in program implementation and management
  • Strong project management skills, with an ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail
