CAPTRUST seeks an RFP Proposal Content and Platform Associate to join its internal business development and sales enablement team with the primary focus of corporate proposal writing and content development, maintaining corporate and professional content, and strategic development through multiple platforms supporting presentation deliverable needs associated with business development efforts for a rapidly growing and collaborative organization. Proposal content is focused on retirement advisory services within the financial industry.
This role is not only about the technical aspects of maintaining an RFP content repository, it is also about assisting internal teams increase effeciency by providing on-hands guidance, building trust and awareness, and driving collaborative alignment.
CAPTRUST’s marketing strategy is a combination of the high-level activities that include targeted and appropriate messaging communicated through various marketing platforms and applications, media outlets and publications, corporate websites, and presence on social media as well as real-time support for business development opportunities. These activities are based on market intelligence, historical data and trends, and understanding of the opportunity to ensure a successful outcome, which are intended to support the firm’s growth efforts and the needs of its institutional and wealth management clients. Primary responsibilities may include the following, among others:
Maintain platform system user roles and permissions, back-end system and project settings, and workflows within a web-based content management system. Maintain project upload, templates, collections, preferences, and content catalog structures
Beta-test and ensure that platform AI features such as Auto Respond and generative AI Assistants are being used effectively to optimize effeciency
Assist with proposal strategy, strategic design, and implementation of internal and external platform integrations and developing communications to internal team members and subject matter experts across the firm
Design internal training materials including but not limited to internal team newsletter, video design and upload, and on-demand training for internal Request for Proposal execution team members and Subject Matter Experts
Minimum Qualifications:

Excellent project management, knowledge management, and organizational skills necessary with an appropriate level of attention to detail and accountability
Demonstrated ability or experience with production, development, or fulfillment of professional prospect presentation materials
High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in addition to utilization of Asana, SharePoint, Teams
Experience in proposal management, proposal development, proposal writing, or content management including software such as Responsive or a comparable web-based technology management system
Knowledge and awareness of the business development and marketing activities, challenges, and requirements associated with an RIA within the financial services industry specifically for wealth management, retirement plan, and endowment foundation audiences
Must be a self-starter with the ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment
Must be coachable, possess curiosity, and have a desire to learn
Strong writing, interpersonal, and collaboration communication skills
Must be able to demonstrate a sense of urgency and a desire to propel the firm forward and continually meet deadlines
Must possess poise and focus in a deadline-driven environment and stressful situations; Ability to work on multiple projects with simultaneous deadlines
