WHO are we looking for?

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Offensive Security IT Associate to join our cybersecurity team. As an Associate-Offensive Security Engineer, you will get hands-on experience simulating sophisticated attacks to assess and enhance our security defenses. You will work closely with senior team members to identify vulnerabilities, conduct penetration tests, and provide actionable recommendations to fortify our systems against potential threats.

• Support the execution of penetration testing on networks, applications, and cloud environments using platforms such Ubuntu, Kali Linux, Parrot Linux, and Rapid7 under the guidance of senior team members
• Learn to identify and exploit vulnerabilities in systems, applications, and network configurations
• Participate in developing and executing attack scenarios to test the resilience of the defenses and incident response capabilities
• Create initial draft reports outlining vulnerabilities, exploit methods, and recommend mitigation steps
• Participate in post-engagement debriefs and provide insights to improve our security posture
• Work with various stakeholders to prioritize and remediate identified vulnerabilities in a timely manner
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, attack techniques, and industry trends to ensure our Red Team activities are relevant and effective

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent coursework and internship experience)
• Possess or obtain eJPT Certification or equivalent within 6 months of start date
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Basic understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and application security
• 0-2 years of experience

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

• Familiarity with penetration testing tools and platforms such as Kali Linux, Pentera, and Rapid7
• CEH, PJPT, PNPT, eCPPT, OSCP, or CRTP Certifications are a plus but not required
