Overview

HO are we looking for?

 

CAPTRUST is seeking a Financial Advisor Relationship Manager who will provide high-quality service to new and existing institutional retirement plan and individual wealth clients. The Financial Advisor will have an immediate impact on team productivity, streamlining strategic initiatives, facilitating prospect and client management, as well as collaborating on team objectives between internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a business management role, with strong customer service skills. Responsibilities

  • Provide an important client-facing role delivering investment reviews and other presentations in-person and virtually
  • Expected to be aware and informed of client needs and provide proactive service to clients
  • Work with all other departments and maintain rapport to ensure high levels of communication, professionalism, and working team environment
  • Provide market overviews, investment performance, and plan/provider topical items for client meetings and as requested by clients 
  • Manage/complete meeting notes, high-level projects and action items post client meeting
  • Compile reports, presentations, and spreadsheets for clients that are customized in nature
  • Help ensure a high level of client satisfaction and loyalty
  • Assist with sales and marketing efforts to create future opportunities with both existing clients and prospects
  • Provide educational meetings and individual advice sessions for select clients as needed
  • Expected to continue financial education and stay abreast of industry trends and planning topics

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience working in client service/relationship management in the investment advisory, money management, or financial services industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Series 65

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

  • Series 6, 7
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to communicate information to a technical audience, plan committees, C-suite executives and individual clients. 
  • Knowledge of institutional retirement plans
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Strong organizational skills
