Overview

WHO are we looking for?

CAPTRUST is seeking a Product Manager to own and evolve our Wealth Management FinTech ecosystem. This role will focus on client onboarding, financial planning tools, custodial integrations, and related internal solutions. The Product Manager will serve as the connective tissue between advisors, client service, operations, custodians, vendors, and internal development teams — ensuring our WealthTech platform is integrated, secure, and delivering measurable value to clients and advisors. others:

Responsibilities

  • Act as the owner of the firm’s Wealth Management FinTech ecosystem, including onboarding, planning tools, custodial integrations, and internal solutions
  • Coordinate with CRM and reporting product managers to ensure alignment across the broader technology landscape
  • Define and maintain the product roadmap, balancing strategic vision with near-term enhancements
  • Serve as the primary liaison between vendors, custodians, internal development teams, and business stakeholders
  • Gather and prioritize feedback from advisors, client service, operations, and clients to drive adoption and satisfaction
  • Partner with engineering and project management resources to deliver integrations and enhancements on time and within scope
  • Lead stakeholder education and change management to maximize adoption and value realization
  • Monitor performance, usage, and business outcomes of technology solutions
  • Ensure compliance, security, and operational efficiency across the WealthTech stack

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management or technology ownership within financial services, ideally wealth management
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or technology; MBA/CFP preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Wealth Management FinTech platforms (financial planning, custodial systems, onboarding solutions)
  • Proven ability to manage integrations across multiple vendors and custodians
  • Strong technical fluency and experience collaborating with development teams (APIs, data flows, integrations)
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills — able to translate business needs into technical requirements
  • Track record of driving user adoption and improving client experiences.

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in Agile methodology
  • Azure DevOps experience
  • Understanding of CRM Applications (Microsoft Dynamics)
  • QA/testing knowledge
  • Detail oriented and highly organized
  • Ability to handle multiple projects/work streams and adapt to a constantly changing environment
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with all levels of staff
  • Exceptional oral and written communications skills; ability to communicate effectively
  • High standard of professionalism
