Overview

WHO are we looking for?

 

CAPTRUST is seeking a Senior Campaign Marketing Automation Specialist to join its in-house digital marketing team to support the firm’s brand-building marketing campaigns and data-driven digital marketing efforts. Proven expertise building and orchestrating marketing automation campaigns across all aspects of traditional and digital marketing – with a heavy focus on social media, life-stage marketing, and email marketing tactics.

 

This position will manage and oversee all aspects of marketing automation and analytics to effectively promote the CAPTRUST brand and service offering across all lines of business and client types. Position duties include planning marketing automation campaigns, a deep understanding of marketing technology, and measuring the performance analytics of campaigns and programs. The role is an individual contributor who can interact and drive collaborative planning discussions with content creators and marketing leadership to deliver campaigns that:

  • Build awareness of capabilities and investment solutions
  • Drive response of qualified leads
  • Integrate with systems for improved lead conversions
  • Leverage a robust set of data to improve targeting and results
  • Support field sales through the execution of email marketing programs

The in-house digital marketing team is part of, and will collaborate with, CAPTRUST’s marketing team total team of 45 professionals which is responsible for supporting the firm’s growth efforts and the needs of its retirement plan, endowment and foundation, and wealth management clients.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute all digital marketing automation campaigns partnering with the brand and content partners in a seamless and coordinated manner
  • Assist with the management of all marketing events/campaigns and ensure alignment with business priorities, demand forecasts, editorial strategy, and internal stakeholders
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
  • Devise email A/B tests, manage testing calendar, record results, and advise on improvements. Testing includes subject lines, message content, CTAs, customer cohorts, and segments, send time, and new features intended to drive performance lift
  • Partner with team members responsible for key aspects of digital - including SEO, paid media, marketing database, content strategy, and website development/optimization/management
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
  • Use customer data such as web-behavior to drive the message and content personalization
  • Analyze the company’s digital marketing plan and identifying strategic weaknesses and making recommendations for improvements

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 5-7 years of B2B marketing communications experience (agency or in-house)
  • Experience in business and technical writing, data analysis, market research, and project management
  • A background in investments, wealth management, or finance is a plus

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

  • A self-starter and with the ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment
  • Proficiency in marketing automation and CRM platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics and ClickDimensions
  • Familiarity with project management and social media tools like Asana and Oktopost are a plus
  • Maintains an extreme attention to detail, is organized, and accountable
  • An individual that can be coached and has a desire to learn
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism
  • Superior written communication skills
  • Good interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines
  • Works well in deadline-driven environment and stressful situations
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with simultaneous deadlines
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools and other reporting platforms or the ability to learn and adapt to new marketing technologies
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
