Overview

WHO are we looking for?

 

CAPTRUST is seeking a Senior Relationship Management Associate who will be responsible for supporting, growing and managing a holistic wealth management practice that serves the ongoing and ever-changing needs of its advisors and clients. They will provide deep financial planning counsel around life goals, investment management solutions and risk management. The Senior Associate – Relationship Manager will work primarily with, individual investors, families, and business owners to help them achieve their short and long-term goals, and may also be called on to support CAPTRUST at Work days meeting with participants of our institutional clients.

Responsibilities

  • Support Financial advisors in the Chesterton office with their Wealth Client relationships
  • Provide ongoing financial planning and investment management services
  • Provide financial planning and education to retirement plan participants
  • Develop relationships with referral sources, centers of influence, and external partners
  • Identify, establish, develop, and manage new client relationships
  • Limited travel required

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of related industry experience; wealth management, financial planning, and investment vehicles

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

  • Professional License/Certification preferred (65,6,7) a plus
  • Possession of or desire to pursue CFP
  • Knowledge of or exposure to eMoney or similar financial planning software
  • Strong communications skills including public speaking in group settings
  • Strong interpersonal skills; including being polished, courteous, professional, and patient
  • Strong organizational skills (ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines and manage expenses)
  • Good computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, Access, GAP analysis tools and vendor website navigation
