CAPTRUST is seeking a motivated and experienced Product Manager with extensive and specialized expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations to lead the development, optimization, and significant expansion of our ERP platform. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing and enhancing this system to drive business transformation.This role presents an opportunity to shape our Dynamics 365 F&O platform, modernize core financial and operational processes, and support our rapidly growing business through strategic leadership and innovation. The successful candidate will engage with cross-functional teams, understand business needs, negotiate scope, and deliver high-impact solutions that align with CAPTRUST’s long-term vision.

• Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, aligning it with broader business objectives and long-term ERP goals
• Engage with executive leadership to ensure alignment on ERP strategy and priorities
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, Finance, Sales, and Operations, to understand business needs and challenges and facilitate alignment on product priorities
• Quickly learn and adapt to CAPTRUST’s culture and processes, acting as a consultant to internal teams and bridging gaps between business requirements and technical solutions within Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
• Conduct in-depth discussions with stakeholders to gather detailed requirements, ensuring the ERP system effectively supports financial operations, reporting, and downstream processes
• Create and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap for Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, prioritizing features and enhancements based on business value, stakeholder input, and measurable outcomes.
• Stay informed on Microsoft’s Dynamics roadmap and recommend adoption of new features, including emerging AI and automation capabilities where appropriate
• Employ a data-driven approach to prioritize feature development, balancing the needs of different business functions and operational processes
• Effectively communicate product features, updates, and changes to stakeholders, ensuring a shared understanding of the platform’s capabilities and benefits
• Collaborate with UX and process design teams to ensure the ERP platform offers an intuitive and efficient experience for all users
• Plan and coordinate product releases, including managing feature launches, updates, and continuous improvements
• Utilize metrics and analytics to monitor ERP performance, identifying areas for enhancement and optimization
• Continuously iterate on the Dynamics 365 platform, incorporating user feedback, market trends, and operational needs to drive ongoing improvement
• Address challenges and obstacles finding creative solutions to meet stakeholder requirements
• Engage with external vendors and partners to support integrations, enhancements, and solution expansion efforts.
• Partner with IT and data teams to ensure ERP integrations support broader data strategy and enterprise reporting requirements
• Support adoption and rollout of new ERP capabilities by ensuring teams understand changes and associated benefits

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, data analytics, or a related field or equivalent years of experience
• Proven experience as a Product Manager, with a specific focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O)
• Minimum 7-12 years of industry experience

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

• Strong expertise in financial operations and CRM strategy, requirements gathering, and scope negotiation
• Deep understanding of financial workflows, reporting, and operational processes within Dynamics 365 F&O
• Ability to drive product strategy and lead initiatives that expand and optimize ERP capabilities, including integrations with other finance tools
• Strong collaboration and facilitation skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple job functions
• Exceptional communication skills to ensure alignment on product priorities and to convey product changes to stakeholders
• Experience with requirements gathering and a data-driven approach to feature prioritization
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• A track record of successfully managing and improving an ERP product throughout its lifecycle
• Experience delivering measurable business outcomes such as improved pipeline accuracy, enhanced client service metrics, or operational efficiency gains
• Proven experience managing external vendors and third-party integrations
• Knowledge of data integration strategies and enterprise data alignment.
• Preferred: Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate or Solution Architect Expert
• Nice-to-have: Experience with Power Platform and Power Automate for workflow automation and process optimization
