Overview

WHO are we looking for?

 

CAPTRUST is seeking a Financial Advisor Recruiter to identify, engage, and hire top-tier financial advisors who align with our culture, service model, and long-term growth priorities. This individual will play a critical role in building our advisor bench strength by sourcing experienced talent, managing full-cycle recruiting processes, and partnering closely with business leaders across the firm. Candidates must demonstrate the highest professional and ethical standards, exceptional communication skills, strong relationship-building capabilities, and a keen understanding of the wealth management and financial advisory landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Support advisor hiring efforts by proactively sourcing and engaging prospective financial advisor candidates, and assisting with screening, interviewing, and pipeline management
  • Develop targeted sourcing strategies to attract experienced financial advisors
    Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders
  • Evaluate advisor candidates for business and cultural value add
  • Manage advisor pipeline and maintain accurate tracking
  • Conduct market mapping and competitive intelligence research
  • Represent CAPTRUST at recruiting and networking events
  • Coordinate interview processes and ensure a high‑quality candidate experience
  • Collaborate with onboarding teams for smooth transitions
  • May perform other duties as assigned; may require limited travel
  • On‑site role with possible hybrid flexibility

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of recruiting experience, with at least 2 years focused on financial advisors

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

  • Demonstrated success recruiting licensed financial advisors
  • Understanding of RIA, broker‑dealer, or wealth advisory environments
  • Strong relationship and trust-building skills
  • Excellent communication, organization, and project management abilities
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality
