Overview

WHO are we looking for? 

CAPTRUST is seeking an Team Lead with our Administrative Professionals team who will provide coaching and leadership for a team of regional and home office Administrative Professionals. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. in our Dallas, TX or Chicago, IL office location. Primary responsibilities may include the following, among others:

Responsibilities

  • Manage, lead, and train a large team of regional and home office Administrative Professionals, ensuring adequate support for all clients, Executives, Financial Advisors, and prospects
  • Conduct one-on-one sessions with team members and write and deliver performance appraisals annually
  • Demonstrate strong strategic thinking and effective conflict resolution skills
  • Periodic travel to regional offices for training and support
  • Manage all personnel and HR related issues
  • Manage Hospitality Associates and ensure all events are properly planned and execute
  •  Oversee all expenses for Admins, Executives, and Financial Advisors
  • Handle any critical issues that arise in relation to events, scheduling, phone coverage, and mail
  • Manage timecard approvals and PTO requests
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and support
  • Perform other duties and special projects, as required

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a Team Leader or Manager capacity
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience working with C-Suite personnel and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

  • Demonstrates leadership qualities (executive presence, emotional intelligence, guidance, vision, metrics, relationship building)
  • High standards of professionalism (presence, dress, manners, conduct, communication)
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • Prioritization skills; ability to manage many time-sensitive tasks simultaneously
  • Extremely organized; enjoys keeping accurate and detailed documentation
  • Required: Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; ability to design spreadsheets using formulas, linking cells, and graphing functions
  • Experience with Concur and ADP applications is preferred
  • Energized by change and able to think “out-of-the-box” regarding process improvement, compliance adherence, and expense management
  • Ability to grasp financial/investment concepts
