Overview

WHO are we looking for?

 

CAPTRUST is seeking an Institutional Performance Reporting Senior Team Leader who will be responsible for supervising and directing the work of other investment professionals. The Senior Team Leader will assist employees with professional development efforts in addition to identifying areas for individual and team improvement. The Team Lead will partner with client service professionals, financial advisors operations team members in addition to external vendors and custodians to research, troubleshoot, and resolve any issues that may arise. Primary responsibilities may include the following, among others:

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, direct, and review the work of other performance reporting professionals, conduct performance appraisals, and take disciplinary action as needed and partner with human resources, management, and team leaders to fulfill these responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage workflow to ensure team is meeting client obligations and deadlines
  • Mentor and peer review associate level analysts on performance calculation and reporting issues
  • Identify areas for individual and team improvement
  • Identify and focus on opportunities to enhance or improve the efficiency of team deliverables/operations
  • Use analytical skills to verify data, identify issues, and work to develop creative and scalable solutions to provide accurate and consistent data to our colleagues and clients
  • Transition acquired firm data onto the CAPTRUST reporting platform
  • Respond to incoming inquiries from colleagues related to troubleshooting and review of complex account and data discrepancies
  • Assist with or lead Performance Reporting projects

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent years of work experience
  • 6+ years of relevant industry experience in Performance Reporting; 1-3 years of leadership experience 

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

  • Portfolio Accounting experience including understanding of finance, investments and accounting concepts
  • Experience utilizing the Investment Metrics Portfolio Analytics and Reporting platform
  • Detail oriented, analytical, and highly organized
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite especially Microsoft Excel and Power BI
  • Demonstrated ability to respond with sound judgment to situations with no clear precedent
  • Prioritization skills: ability to manage many time-sensitive tasks simultaneously
  • Extremely organized; ability to keep accurate and detailed records
  • Strong project management skills
